Privacynotice.

This notice explains how Personalised Projects, a division of MYRRCO (Pty) Ltd (“we”, “us”), collects and uses personal information through this website, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (“POPIA”). By using the site or sending us an enquiry you accept this notice.

Who is responsible

The responsible party is MYRRCO (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2023/639440/07), trading as Personalised Projects. Our address is 41 Locksley Road, Robindale, Randburg, 2194.

What we collect

• Enquiries. When you use the contact form, WhatsApp, phone or email, we receive the details you give us: typically your name, phone number, email address, the property type, the service you are interested in and your message. Anything you choose to send us (photos of a leak, an address) is also processed for that enquiry.
• Technical data. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) to run and secure the site. We do not use these logs to identify you.

We do not knowingly collect information from children, and we do not collect special personal information.

Why we use it

• To respond to your enquiry, arrange a site visit and prepare a quotation.
• To carry out and administer work you engage us for (contracts, invoicing, guarantees, records of products used).
• To keep the website secure and working.
• To meet our legal obligations, for example tax and record-keeping.

We process enquiry data because you have asked us to (consent and steps taken at your request), and thereafter to perform a contract with you and to meet our legitimate interest in running the business. We do not sell personal information and we do not send marketing you have not asked for.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate, and only for that purpose:

• Website hosting: Cloudflare, Inc. (USA), which serves this site from its global network and keeps short-lived server and security logs.
• Contact-form delivery: Web3Forms, which relays form submissions to our email inbox.
• WhatsApp: if you choose to message us on WhatsApp, Meta Platforms processes that conversation under its own privacy policy.
• Professional advisers, and authorities where the law requires it.

Some of these providers are outside South Africa. Where personal information leaves the country, it goes only to providers bound by privacy obligations that are substantially similar to POPIA, as section 72 of POPIA requires.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and does not run third-party analytics. When you send the contact form, the site notes the time in your browser’s session storage so a double click does not send it twice. It contains no personal information and disappears when you close the tab.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted. Records of work we have carried out (quotes, invoices, guarantees, product records) are kept for as long as the law requires, usually five years after the work is completed, or for the length of any guarantee if longer.

How we protect it

The site is served over HTTPS only, with security headers in place. Form submissions travel encrypted. Access to our inbox and records is limited to the people who need it to deal with your enquiry.

Your rights

Under POPIA you may:

• ask what personal information we hold about you, and request a copy;
• ask us to correct or delete it;
• object to processing, or withdraw consent, where the processing is based on consent;
• complain to the Information Regulator.

To exercise any of these, email info@personalisedprojects.co.za. We will respond within a reasonable time and in any event within the periods POPIA sets. Requests for access are handled in terms of our PAIA manual.

Changes

We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Material changes will be flagged on this page.
