Family home roof restoration

A faded concrete-tile roof, restored and repainted in light grey around the existing solar panels and solar geyser.

Family home roof restoration

The challenge

The old coating had faded to a chalky, patchy pink and was flaking off, and the ridges needed resealing.

What we did

We removed all loose and flaking paint, resealed the ridges and fixed them down securely, primed the whole roof and finished it in a high-quality acrylic roof paint, using industrial-grade waterproofing products.

Before

Faded, chalky red roof tiles along the ridge before the restoration
Weathered roof tiles next to the solar geyser before the restoration

During

Pressure-cleaning loose and flaking paint off the old tiles
Two of the team priming the cleaned tiles
Resealing the ridge
A painter working on the roof near the gable

After

The repainted light grey roof from above, with the solar panels in place
A resealed ridge, repainted in light grey
The finished grey roof from above, looking towards the pool
